IAS Success Stories: Ankita Jain’s success came in the fourth attempt and now her dream of becoming an IAS has been fulfilled.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam is considered to be one of the most prestigious examinations in the country and also one of the toughest to crack. Lakhs of candidates appear in this examination every year, but only a few candidates get success. Recently, the commission has released the result of the 2020 Civil Services Examination and Ankita Jain secured All India Rank 3.
Today, we will discuss Ankita Jain’s journey towards achieving success in the UPSC exam 2020.
Ankita’s success came in the fourth attempt and now her dream of becoming an IAS has been fulfilled. After completing her B.Tech in Computer Science, she worked in the private sector for some time and then started preparing for UPSC. But she did not succeed in the first three attempts. Despite this, she did not give up and cleared the exam on the fourth attempt.
Ankita is originally from Delhi and her husband is an IPS officer. From an early age, her dream was to become an IAS officer. Ankita was a good student and graduated with a B.Tech degree from Delhi Technological University after intermediate, after which she got a job in a company and after working for some time she started preparing for UPSC.Â
Ankita started preparing for UPSC in 2017 but she did not succeed in the first attempt, but in the second attempt, she passed the exam. However, she didn’t get the desired rank. She joined the Indian Account Service and continued to prepare for the UPSC exam.Â
She didn’t succeed in the third attempt and finally, in the fourth attempt, she fulfilled her dream of becoming an IAS officer.Â
